Q: What is included in the CPL training course?
A: Our CPL course includes classroom instruction on firearm safety, Michigan firearm laws, self-defense laws, and live-fire range training. You’ll also receive a certificate upon successful completion, which you can use to apply for your Michigan CPL.
Q: How long does the CPL class last?
A: All of our classes begin at 8 a.m. and run until approximately 4 p.m., including both classroom instruction and live-fire training.

A: Yes, Michigan law requires applicants to complete an approved Concealed Pistol License (CPL) training course before applying for a CPL.
Q: Who can take this class?
A: You must be at least 18 years old to take the class. However, to apply for a Michigan CPL, you must be at least 21 years old and meet all state eligibility requirements.
Q: Do I need prior firearms experience to take this class?
A: No, our course is designed for all experience levels. We will cover the basics of firearm safety, handling, and shooting techniques.
Q: What do I need to bring to the class?
A: Students should bring:
- A concealed carry pistol (if you have one)
- 100 rounds of ammunition
- Ear protection
- Eye protection
- A notepad and pen/pencil
- Holster (optional)
Q: What if I don’t own a firearm?
A: If you do not have a firearm, we offer a .22 caliber pistol rental for an additional fee of $20. This fee includes the firearm and ammunition.

A: The class fee is $100.

A: Yes, we offer a $10 discount to:

Q: Do you offer private classes?
A: Yes, we offer private classes at either your location or ours. We require a minimum of 4 students for a private class. If we conduct the training at your location, you must provide:
- A suitable area for a PowerPoint presentation (such as a garage or living room).
- A safe location for live-fire training.
Q: Is lunch provided?
A: Yes! We provide a sandwich and chips for lunch, along with coffee and water throughout the class.
Note: Lunch is not provided for private classes held at your location. Students should plan accordingly.
Q: What if I have dietary restrictions?
A: If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

A: You can reserve your spot by filling out the booking form on our website.

A: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments. Payment details will be provided upon registration.

A: After completing our course, you’ll take your training certificate to your local county clerk’s office, submit your application, get fingerprinted, and pay the required fee. The state will then process your application.
